About	Bobby Fred Harris, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather ("Papaw"); retired Pensacola NAS employee and member of the Windy Hill Baptist Church, passed away at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital on December 11, 2022. He was born November 23, 1934 in Hartford, Alabama (Geneva County). He was raised in Bonifay, Florida and Pensacola, Florida. He graduated from Pensacola High School in 1952. He was an active member of the reunion group for his high school graduating class. He worked for 35 years at the Naval Air Rework Facility at Pensacola NAS. He rose through the ranks, starting as an Aircraft Instrument Mechanic, rising into management. Prior to that he spent 4 years in the Air Force serving as a an enlisted man and non-commissioned o?cer in the Strategic Air Command where he learned and developed his skills in aircraft maintenance and logistics. He spent the last 35 years in retirement as an active husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and church member. He enjoyed drawing, painting, wood carving, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and doting on his two great-granddaughters. He enjoyed jokes and storytelling; he never met a stranger when it came to sharing a joke or a funny story.
Events	Services to be held on December 20, 2020 at the Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Public viewing at 1pm, funeral service starting at 2pm, followed by a committal service at the graveside in the Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
