It's been five years, already, since my dear friend was tragically killed in a storm. She left behind a loving husband and two very young girls (ages 4 and 11 months) whom they had adopted. Her family and friends miss her enormously. Now the Univ. of MD, where she worked for 15 years, has established a scholarship to honor her memory.
