| About Me | I’m entering my 36th year of teaching woodworking, physical play and computer science at The School in Rose Valley. My wife, Lauren, a former Rose Valley schoolmate, recently retired from 31 years of teaching and administrative work at Rose Valley. After three years of trying to find the right house, this spring Lauren and I moved from our 20 year home in Swarthmore into Media to provide her with a greater number of options within walking distance and to cut our taxes in half. Having become something of a genealogy widower due to Lauren’s passion for tracing our families roots and compiling books of stories, maps and information about hundreds of the more interesting people and places she has found connections, I amuse myself playing and listening to music and stand up comedy, attending live performances and reading. Our son, Luke (another Rose Valley graduate), at 28, is making his living teaching and coaching soccer, has just been hired by Friend’s Central to leverage the power of social media to attract and retain students and continues to maintain photography and videography as side jobs.
