Class of 1971 50 Year Reunion

Greetings fellow Class of 71 Classmate,
The Penn High School Class of 1971 will hold our 50 year class reunion on Saturday October 16, 2021 at The Hall at St.Peters on Ironwood Drive in South Bend. It will be a very relaxed evening featuring a Polish buffet dinner and an evening of reminiscing. Tickets are only $35 per person and can be purchased by check through Steve Benson at 6206 Miami Street, South Bend, IN 46614
In addition we will have a social gathering at "Between the Buns" in Osceola the evening before the reunion on October 15th. There will be no additional charge to attend this event but participants will purchase their own drinks and food.
For those interesting in taking a tour of Penn High School we have arranged one for Friday evening also. Details are still being finalized but there will be no charge to attend this tour and it will be early enough on Friday evening that anyone interested could tour the school and still have time to attend the get together at "Between the Buns".
Festivities begin both evenings at 6:00 PM.
The reunion committee looks forward to seeing you all at the reunion.

PENN SPELL BOWL TEAM WINS 15TH STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!
THIS PAST NOVEMBER, THE PENN HIGH SCHOOL SPELL BOWL TEAM WON ITS 15TH STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WHEN THEY DEFEATED MARTINSVILLE 90-89.
PENN SPELL BOWL WINS 13TH STATE TITLE!
This past November, the Penn Kingsmen Spell Bowl team won its 13th state championship when they posted a perfect score of 90 at the state finals held at Purdue University-West Lafayette.
This past spring, the Kingsmen Academic Super Bowl-Social Studies team won its 12th state championship.

Reunion, Class of 1990
Class of 1990's 20th Class Reunion
Members of Penn High School's Class of 1990 have finalized plans for their 20-year reunion in 2010. On Friday, July 30 and Saturday, July 31, 2010, the Class of 1990 will hold their 20-year class reunion. The pre-event on Friday, July 30 starts at 6 p.m. with food and drinks at The Landing. The big event will be held on Saturday, July 31 at 6 p.m. at the Century Center. "Save the Date" cards will be sent in the mail to all graduates in December of 2009. Invitations will be mailed out in March of 2010.

Reunion, 1967-70 classes
Joint Reunion Planned - Classes of 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970
Plan on spending a wonderful weekend renewing old friendships and making new friends by joining the Classes of 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970 at a joint reunion the weekend of July 24, 2010. The reunion will be held at the F.O.P. in Mishawaka and it will have a Hawaiian/Tropical theme. Mark your calendars now! More details will be available in the coming months. More Penn High News
Penn High School Yearbooks. Over the past couple of months, members of the Alumni Association Executive Board have been contacted by several classmates who are looking to replace "lost" or destroyed yearbooks from their high school days. Unfortunately, the Alumni Association does not have a library of past yearbooks; however, we are asking our fellow classmates to make "donations" of old or unwanted Penn High School yearbooks.
If you, or anyone you know, has an old Penn High School yearbook laying around that you no longer want, we would be grateful for the donation. Maybe you are married classmates who each have a yearbook from your days at Penn High School, or perhaps you are a retired teacher from Penn who no longer wants the yearbooks laying around your home - whatever the case, we would be happy to accept your donation. The books are available for purchase at the Educational Services Center on Bittersweet Road just north of Penn High School. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Copies picked up in person cost $32. We can accept cash, money orders, or checks - money orders and checks should be made payable to the: Penn High School Alumni Association.
If you do not live in the area and need your book mailed to you the cost will be $37 (includes shipping/handling). Complete the order form and send your payment to receive your copy today!
