About	David Lee Logsdon, 49, beloved husband, father and friend, died in a motorcycle accident while on a bike trip in Colorado on Monday, July 12, 2010. Dave was a heck of a nice guy. He loved life and always had a smile on his face. He loved fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, motorcycles, UFC, cooking, gardening, traveling and just hanging out at home. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Nothing meant more to him. He loved doing things as a family. He was a great dad and was very involved in his sons lives. He will be sadly missed. He was born March 17, 1961, in Fairfield, Calif., to Lyle and Clara Logsdon. He grew up in Pekin, Ill., and graduated from Pekin High School in 1979. He moved to Indiana shortly afterward. He married Lisa (Stark) Logsdon in 1990. He was employed by Applied Extrusion Technologies for 20 years as a machine operator. He obtained a technical certificate for industrial maintenance in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Logsdon; two sons, John David and Thomas at home. Also surviving are his mother, Clara; stepmother, Kate Logsdon; brothers, Murl (Marilyn) Smith, Randall (Judy) Logsdon, Rick (Colleen) Logsdon, and Steve Beatty; sisters, Debbie (Rick) Jackson, Sandi Emmert, Jody Hutton, Cathy DeYoung, and Lori Hofreiter; favorite mother-in-law, Lynda Stark; special sister-in-law, Laura Crain; special niece and nephew, Kaylyn and Jacob Crain; and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Logsdon; favorite father-in-law, John Stark; and grandparents.
