| Favorite School Memory | First let me say, I was "Class of '84" but did not graduate (please read on before you hold that against me). Had to go to work full time after single father re-married and moved, and ended up not finishing. Strange how I was in a gifted class in elementary school in ATL. but transferred to Lindley for last year of middle school, then to PHS and really struggled. Was kind of the "new kid" and never really found a niche, and had to leave (I don't like the word "drop out") in 1983 as a Junior. After working for about 6 years, decided to better myself. GED, then SAT, then West Georgia College (Univ. of W.GA now). So, I guess my favorite memory came 6 years or so after I left, when I finally appreciated my time at PHS. | About Me | Worked a lot of 12 hour shifts in the printing business before I started my company in 2005. Which is also printing and promotional products. I worked in PA for about 2 years and was diagnosed with colon cancer. That was surgically removed and I am now cancer free for 20 years. In college, I met my Wife, Mary. We have been married for over 17 years. We have 2 beutiful children, one of which was diagnosed as deaf/hard of hearing at 3 years old. We spend a lot of time advocating for him. He graduated from the Atlanta Speech School 2 years ago and we are blessed to have him as well as out daughter. I had been away from Cobb County since I left until we found out about his disability and had to move closer than Carrollton where we were at the time. Now my daughter is a Junior at Harrison High, a floutist in the marching band, and carrying a 3.8 or so GPA, which is probably about 1.8 higher than mine was.
