About Me	Upon graduating from Pawling, I immediately entered the workforce while also attending Dutchess Community College at night. I learned early on that education was the key to success and advancement. I moved to Virginia in 1993 to begin my education at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia...for those not familiar with Virginia, Newport News is about 20 minutes from the City of Norfolk. I began working in law enforcement in 2006 in the City of Norfolk and joined the Department of State Police in 1998. I graduated from Christopher Newport in 2003. Yes, it took 10 years but one can never place time constrants on a fine education. Actually, the lengthy time was the result of traveling and prolonged specialty assignments with the Department of State Police. I remarried (yes, as most, I did divorce the first time around) in February 2009 and we (Hillary & I) are expecting our first child this week....Very excited...I retired early in July 2009 (it was my Departments gift for becoming a father) as a result of an accident on duty.
