About Me | I am a proud air force wife and navy sister. I love our military and am very honored to be married to a veteran. not many can say they know a hero- i married mine. I have been with Scott, the love of my life since 1996. the first time i heard his name i knew i was going to marry him. odd i know but its true. sounds silly i am sure to many- but its a day i will never forget. We have been married now for over 17 yrs now. He is my hero, my best friend, lover and husband.. we have two great kids mya and austin. i am very blessed to have them both- they make me so proud to be there mother and so thankful each day. they always are smiling, loving life and just leave me and scott in utter awe each and every day. I am a very proud stay at home mom, i have worked in the past at factories, stores, even owned my own biz for years. this is the hardest and greatest job i have ever had.. we also have 7 other members of our nutty family all but one rescued. we each have our own cat- broken(he was stepped on by a cow and back leg was crushed), angle, pumkin, and blitz. Our three dogs are piglet(boston terrier), brick and bella(both great danes, brick is 160, bella 158)) our dogs. both of them were very abused both physically n mentally. I am very involved with chronic pain and auto immune illness awareness. It's something very close to my heart bc i have a few of them(ddd, aks, fibro, cmfpsd) and know many others who have these as well. I also suffer with chronic migraines anixtey panic attacks adhd 3 forms of arthirits n depression. You can not tell that we have these illnesses, we look normal and healthy. most of these illnesses don't show up in normal blood work or testing, and some not even in xrays. they are referred to as the invisible illnesses due to those facts. for all people like me, who suffer with these illnesses- are in some sort of pain everyday. some are ok days and others can completely suck(what we call flare ups). along with these illnesses- many people also have depression and anxiety issues . These illnesses have nothing to do with being over weight(many people who have them are very skinny), not being active enough, and they can hit at anyone at age, even at birth. Some are thought to be caused by traumatic events(car wrecks, abuse, bad falls- for me it was a emergency c section done by a idiot ob). Some of these illnesses can be genetic. but threw these illnesses have come good things. i have learned a lot about what i suffer from and became my own activist. becoming my own activist has even helped the doctors i see to understand more. I have learned a ton about medications, natural healing, crystals, herbal treatments, a...(read more) |
