| About Me | After graduation, I went into the music business and became an accepted AGAC member in NYC. Wrote over 250 songs while training in martial arts. Achieved my 2nd degree black belt and changed careers to state of NJ Law Enforcement. Soon I began speaking out on behalf of victims of abuse or violence in and out of the workplace. I received several awards in Washington, DC for "Speaking Out", "Winning On Policy", and "Positively Impacting Policies In The Workplace, State and Nation for Working Womenâ€. Following this, I was asked to speak at the Women’s Law Enforcement Conference held in Maryland. In 2007, I was chosen to act in the capacity of a U.S. Diplomat in Europe. It was an honor for me to exchange knowledge, ideas, and information with important Government Officials and Heads of State in Austria, Prague, Budapest and Venice. As a retired Sergeant, I began writing and became a self-published author. However, my ultimate job and passion is to help others. Presently, I work at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, NJ. I work with two small confidantes named Angel and Sandy who are pet therapy dogs. Together we enter rooms of patients who are sick, in pain, fearful, in crisis, etc. and we light up each room with smiles. Whether we are in Emergency, Hospice, X-ray, Physical Therapy, etc. we get patients to relax and become more receptive to treatment and testing. Having the tiny Pomeranians assists greatly in getting crisis patients to talk through a crisis they are having. Most of all, Angel and Sandy and I get to see miracles happen.
