Alumni Stories
Carl Nicita
Class of 1973
As a graduate of PV Moore, I’d like to thank the school district for the superb educational opportunities I was provided 50 years ago. One of the things I am mist grateful for was the chance to work for 4 years with our then high school public radio station WCSQ. It gave me a definite leg up in my professional broadcast career, which officially started at a Syracuse area radio station when I was 17 years old. The memories of working at WCSQ stayed with me through my life and even though I moved to California I stayed in touch with my high school mentor Mr.Hugh White who was instrumental in helping other CSQ students launch broadcasting careers. While Mr. White is no longer with us his kindness and encouragement always will remain with my thoughts. As will my years at PV Moore.
