| About Me | Retired from Verizon in June 2010 after 31 years. I would have continued to work for them, but a forced move from Hunt Valley to Silver Spring expedited my retirement - I enjoyed going to work each day and I miss it still. I had my only biological son in February 1982 - named Joshua - he is now and has always been my entire world. In 1990 I met my life partner, Karen, and helped to raise her son Christopher and her twin daughters Maggie and Becky. I have also raised my niece Nicole whol I consider to be one of my children and am currently raising my 12 year old nephew Dominick who I also consider as being one of my children. Karen and I are the proud parents of quite a few fur-kids: Koda, Bella, Jackson, Muffy and Casey - our canine babies AND Suzie, Sallie, Rudy & Rex - out feline babies. YES, we are huge animal people. In addition, we share a total of 8 grandchildren: Alaina, Kayli, Makayla, Jacob, Corey, Sydnee, Keira and our #8 Benjamin who is due in June 2012. We are raising Corey, our 5 year old grandson until his Mom - our Nicole is released from incarceration. Unfortunately, Nicole has made some very bad life choices, but hopefully has learned her lesson and should be released sometime in 2014.
