1 year at MCB TwentyNine Palms.Ca for C & E school. 1 Year at MCAS Cherry Point MWCS-28 and 1 year based out of Camp Zukeran, Okinawa out on a Battalion Landing Team with Hotel Battery 3rd Battalion 12 Marines deployed to South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines.

I got off Active Duty in June 1981. I then enlisted in the Army Reserves about August 1981 and did my 20 years working with the 322nd Maintenance Company in Arden Hill,MN. I retired in 2001.

2 1/2 years with the 6th infantry in Alaska. I know cold, and I know fishing. 1 year at Knox with the 194 armored Brigade. That will always be the best year of my life. I am Honorable, a NCO, and I’m also 100% service connected disabled. When you hear others talking bad about the VA they are obviously somewhat less disabled. The VA takes care of those who are deserving.
