About	Meuwissen, Pamela Jean (Maxwell) Age 58, of Burnsville, MN, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021, at home surrounded by family, ending a long journey with Huntington's disease. She was preceded in death by parents Harold and Dayle Maxwell, brother Brian Maxwell, sister Patty Goodchild, and dogs Nanook and Sikko. Pam is survived by her loving husband of 33 years Dave, children Lindsey and Matthew, brother Doug Maxwell, and BFF Shelley Luzaich. Pam was born and raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1980. She attended North Hennepin Technical College and graduated from the Dental Assistant Program. Pam worked for several dental offices and was persistent about good dental hygiene. Pam had an adventurous spirit. She loved roller skating (where Pam and Dave met), hot air ballooning, bowling, skiing, camping, and travelling on road trips and cruises. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed attending church with her family. Her favorite adventure was being mother to Lindsey and Matt. She was their biggest fan (attending many dance and karate practices and competitions), tireless chauffeur, patient teacher, trusting confidante, and fierce protector! Pam had a huge heart, a warm smile, and a kind word for everyone. She will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when we all can safely gather. Memorial donations preferred to the Minnesota Chapter of the Huntington's Disease Society of America at minnesota.hdsa.org
