There will instead be prioritization of limited available resources." --Dr. Rick Day, MD, MLS, FCCP I am board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. I have a master's degree of library science from the University of Texas. My first real job was as a rare book cataloger at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. I ran a 5:16 mile at age 30 as well a 2:59 marathon. I enjoy water sports but prefer desert surroundings. I have been to Big Bend National Park at least 6 or 7 times. I am an intuitive thinking type by Jung's categorization. I once had a perfect score on the math portion of the SAT. I won the Tour de Cotton in Childress, Texas, at age 55, a 57-mile bike race, in a time of 3:04, riding non-stop after a solo break at 17 miles. My wife and I have been married for 35 years. My team won the 11th annual adult spelling bee put on by the Wichita Adult Literacy Council in 2007. Another team of mine finished second to a team from the American Association of University Women at the Tyler Adult Literacy bee in 2009. In 2009 I recorded my best time ever in a bicycling century event in Amarillo, finishing in 4:52. I won the USAA 10,000 meter run in 1980, and the Kerrv...(read more)
