| About Me | Initially I moved to the Big City of New Orleans, and after a few years to North Carolina, where I met my husband Michael. In 87 we came to Seattle with our two young sons and I finished college with a double major in psychology and creative writing. In the years since I've pursued both. I'm now a practicing therapist and a writer and poet. I'm currently (2009-2012) serving as the first poet laureate of Redmond, Washington. In 2011 I published my first novel, The Last of the Pascagoula, much of which takes place in a fictionalized Pascagoula (and PHS!) in 1968.
