About Me	Colonel USAF (Ret) Colonel Barmore was born November 23, 1930 in Cameron, Texas. He has a BBA Degree from Texas A&M College and a MSEE from Southern Methodist University. His military education includes Communication-Electronics Officers School, Squadron Officers School, Air Command and Staff College, Industrial College of the Armed Forces and Air War College. He enlisted in the Texas Air National Guard in June 1948 and was called to active duty in October 1950. He severed as Senior Aircraft Radio Operator in B-26 aircraft during the Korean Conflict and was released from active duty in 1952. Colonel Barmore was Commissioned in 1956. He served in various command positions from squadron level to 10th Air Force Director of Communications. His military decorations and awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with six oak leaf clusters, Armed Forces Reserve Medal and Small Arms Expert Marksman Ribbon.
