About	Mark John Ferris, 56, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his home. He was born in Paterson and was raised in Parsippany. He lived in Mt. Tabor, Boonton, Wharton, Front Royal, VA., Richmond, VA., Trumbull, CT., and Landing before moving back to Richmond, VA, in February 2013. Mark proudly served his country in the US Air Force before being honorably discharged. He was a Senior Business Analyst for United Healthcare in Basking Ridge for seven years. Mark was a member of the Mt. Tabor Fire Department and an auxiliary member of VFW Post 3401 in Morris Plains. He loved history, golfing, traveling, cooking and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his life-long friend and mother of his children, Andrea of Landing; his sons: Ian and his wife AnnMarie of Deltona, FL., Matthew and his wife Jennifer of Richmond, VA., and Sean of Landing; his brother, Neil and his wife Kathleen of Washington, DC.; he is also survived by his nephew, Nathan and niece, Jessica. While at PHHS, he was a member of the concert, marching, and stage bands.
