It was an honor and a privilege to serve for 26 years. I started out in Army Intelligence but always was intrigued by aviation. I applied for transfer to Army Aviation and went to school for UH-1 repair. When I retired I was an aviation maintenance instructor. I wouldn't trade my experience for anything.

OIF 06-07, 08-09, OEF 10-11, 2 convoys tours in Iraq operating M915s, driving routes covering over 27,000 miles throughout the roads of Iraq escorting cargo and dignitaries. 3rd tour was served deployed to FOB Lion in Panjshir, Afghanistan, escorting engineers, media, and dignitaries through the province in an effort to build schools and assist USAID with farming improvements in the Pajshir valley. Home to the Massoud family where we visited and coordinated efforts to keep the region stable building roads and providing security. Also performed for the Honor Guard for 3 months in Warner Robins, GA, honoring the loved ones of our departed brothers performing funerals and presenting the colors.
