About Me	Immediately after graduation in 1960 joined the U.S. Air Force. Traveled extensively with assignments in Japan, Okinawa (2 assignments on Okinawa and South Vietnam. Did temporary duty in France, England, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand. Stateside assignments in Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Georgia. Started out in the Air Force as an admin clerk then re-trained into the Morse Code business with the Air Force Security Service. After Nam, joined the Md Air Guard full time and stayed there til I returned to active duty in July 81. Upon returning to active duty was assigned in the Aircrew Resource Branch (Aircrew flight scheduling and aircrew records). Was selected along with two other senior enlisted, for an assignment to the Scheduling Division at the White House. Two of us declined because we were close to retirement and did not want to make another move plus uproot my family. Retired in Sep 97 after 37 years in the Air Force. Worked with and for some great people; one in particular was LtCol Alex J. Naper. He was my boss when I was assigned to Eighth Air Force at Barksdale, Louisiana.
