About Me	Married 54 Years in October. Susan has severe Dementia and is non-verbal. I am her primary caregiver, but I receive "respite care" assistance 5 days a week. (Landing on a good caregiver is a crapshoot, but I have finally found the best!) For the past four years I have volunteered at the Social Justice Ministry at St Matthew's Cathedral in Washington DC. Every Monday we fed the homeless in the basement of the Cathedral. I have grown close to the (mostly) men and women on the streets of DC and look forward each week to our encounters. My interests are the Baltimore Orioles, the Washington Capitals, the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and getting a good cup of coffee in the morning (slipping out of the house and getting back before Susan is up.)
