About Me	How long do you want this to be? Not long out of school, I worked for Pacific NW Bell (QWEST) for many years before retiring early; my first marriage produced two wonderful children, Tom and Sara, and one grandchild, (so far), Talia. Over three years ago (Feb. 2, 2008) I married a fabulous man, Steve Aubrey, the drummer in an excellent classic rock band, Cheap Date, who are, incidentally, available for events: weddings, reunions, etc. (shameless plug, but they are fantastic!) Currently I am very active in Parkrose United Methodist Church, as Lay Leader and in other capacities. I work at Folktime, a socialization group for mentally ill adults, and have completed training to sign uninsured children up for OHP; thanks to the Healthy Kids campaign's success, many more kids are now eligible.
