About Me	After 10 years of teaching, I had my daughter in 1985. I took two years off and completed my Masters in Special Education. I returned to teaching as a Special Ed. Teacher at Franklin Jr. High. This was a, "Welcome Back" for me as with the show. A lot had changed in the years since I left there. The school had twice as many classrooms with about half as many students due to the many special needs. I transferred to Jefferson Elementary when Franklin became an elementary center. Not knowing what would happen with my position, I took the advice of a friend from OVU and moved with my family to Alaska (Indian Reservation) to teach. My husband got a job as a police dispatcher.
