| About Me | I am a native of Birmingham, Alabama. I was educated in Birmingham (Sardis Baptist Church/Carrie A. Tuggle), and Flint public schools, graduating from Flint Central high school, Mott Community College with Associate degrees in Applied Science and General studies, and Spring Arbor University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Life Education. I have studied towards a master’s in clinical counseling at Moody Theological Seminary, Dallas Theological Seminary, APEX School of Theology. My wife of 48 years, Sister Remonia Hawkins, and I studied toward a Diploma in Bible studies at Birmingham Bible Institute, located in Birmingham, Michigan before Remonia became ill in 2017. I retired from the position of building code administrator with the city of Flint in 2001, and subsequently taught, counseled, and held various administrative positions.
