Class of 1970
I only attended Parkdale for my senior year. I spent the first three years of high school at a Catholic, military, boys school (St John's in DC). I was pleasantly surprized at the impact of having girls as classmates. Also, in 1969-1970 fashion dictated short skirts. My homeroom was in the gym (Tom Rae was HR teacher). Enjoyed watching the pom poms and cheerleaders practicing in the gym every morning. Unfortunately, listening to their practice song ("Na Na Hey Hey" by Steam) twenty times every day spoiled a good song for me. Career-wise, I retired twice. Once from the US Air Force and from the US Government (Defense Intelligence Agency). Lots of great people at Parkdale both students and faculty. Best part of attending Parkdale was meeting my wife. Gail Ann Robidoux class of 1971. We celebrate our 49th anniversary in October 2022. Would like to hear from some '70 classmates. If you look in the 1970 Lair yearbook for me, my picture is not there. I am on page 298 list of students. Take care all.
