Brian Davis
Class of 1970
Having attended three years of high school at a Catholic, military, boys' school (St John's in DC) I was pleasantly surprised at the impact of girls as classmates. Plus in 1969-1970, fashion dictated fairly short skirts. As if that wasn't enough, my homeroom was in the gym (Tom Rae was HR teacher). Every morning, the pom poms and cheerleaders were practicing in the gym. Better than most homerooms I'd say. The one drawback was the music. I always liked the song they practiced to, "Na Na, Hey Hey" by Steam but hearing it twenty time each morning spoiled it for me. I ended up retiring twice. Once from the US Air Force and also the US Government (Defense Intelligence Agency). Had a great one year at Parkdale. Lots of very nice people both students and faculty. By the way, I met my wife there. Gail Ann Robidoux, class of 1971. We will celebrate our 49th anniversary this coming October.
