About	Obituary Gordon Wesley Montgomery, August 29, 1957 “The Mont” We are devastated that Gord has passed away suddenly while at home in Etobicoke at the young age of 64 on January 21, 2022. Predeceased by his parents, James Wesley Montgomery and Ellen Jennie Montgomery and survived by his wife, Diana Scott-Montgomery, and by his sister, Carol Struthers (late Hugh), sister Ellie, nephews David, Brian (Emma),Adam (children Maya and Bruce), his niece Karen, his half-sister, Bev Andersen, many cousins, aunts, uncles and so, so many good, loyal, caring friends who were family to him. We are grateful to all his friends and family for sharing how they treasured their deep and lifelong friendships with him. Gord was recently retired from the City of Toronto Distribution Department, but his soul was music and drumming, his passion, woodworking. Gord was an old soul and a great communicator, who kept in touch with everyone the old fashioned way, by phone and in person, and he left everyone who he touched a better person. Family and friends are planning an outdoor celebration of life in early summer planned to be in Mimico. Please feel free to share tributes, memories, photos on his page at Hogle Funeral Home.
