Derrald was a classmate of ours until 1978 when he joined the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1988. Derrald was known by our class as the "tall" guy who was always smiling. He loved to play guitar and was a talented musician. Derrald was not a conformist, he had to do things his way. He took many wrong roads in life but was on the right path. Unfortunately it was cut short when he suffered a massive heart attack. Now he will be forever young. Derrald leaves behind two children: Miranda and Nathanial and his two sisters: Rose and Edythe. He will be missed by many people who he came in contact with over his 47 years of life.
