I was contacted by Gayle’s daughter a couple of months ago. She was coming back to Paris to find information about Gayle.. Evidently she had been away from home for a while and was not privy to any of Gayle’s passed.. especially when he was in Paris.. she wanted to know more about him and his life in Paris.. I’m not sure when he died or the cause of death.. hope someone knows more about the death and will post it here on the alumni class forum..

When I was in Nebraska, I ran in to Gayle at a convenience store in Bellevue Nebraska. He was stationed at Offutt Air Force Base. I was living in Bellevue, after I had gotten out of the Air Force myself. I never saw him again or met him again because I left that area and moved to Massachusetts.
