About Event
We have more information on the Friday events and are asking for RSVPs for each of the activities, the afternoon gathering and/or the tour. For those of you who have RSVPed to the Saturday event, it would be much appreciated if you could let us know about Friday’s events.

The planning is still in progress for the Friday activities but here is what we know so far:
2-6pm – Terry Ashe Recreation Center in Paradise
Light food and drinks will be available.
Come mingle and get reacquainted with all your high school friends.
Linda Marcus (Knifong) will have Paradise High School t-shirts available to purchase. Please bring cash or check if you are interested in purchasing. T-shirts are $10. Linda will be posting details.

Note to clarify, this event was moved from the Terry Ashe Rec Center to be held entirely at the high school and the start time is now 3:45pm.
Parking is by the old gymnasium and where the tennis courts used to be.
Meet at the PHS Cafeteria at 3:45pm and there will be tour of the new facilities. Please check in at the cafeteria.
There will be appetizers from Meehos in Paradise and cold beverages.

About Event
We are extending the reunion invite to the classes of 1976, 78, 79. If any PHS alumni from any other class express interest to you, let us know. When you reach out to classmates from these years, please provide them with the group site and we can add them to the group for updates.
Please R.S.V.P by August 1, 2022. The cost is $60.00 per person. To confirm your attendance, there are two options for payment. Venmo and by check.

Reunion proposed events:
Friday, August 19th: Linda Knifong Martin is coordinating a late afternoon picnic in Paradise on Friday, the details will be posted when finalized. She is also coordinating a tour of the high school for those who are interested. We will need a headcount for the tour as we get closer to the reunion weekend.
Saturday, August 20th:
Location: Doubletree by Hilton, 685 Manzanita Ct, Chico, CA 95926
Casual summer to semi-formal attire.
5-6 pm - No host cocktail /social hour.
6-7:30 pm - Dinner
7- 11 pm – Music and dancing
Hotel Reservations: We have a block of rooms at the Doubletree. Reserve your room at (530) 345-2491. Reference the 1977 Paradise High School Class Reunion.
There are other accommodations near the Doubletree, within walking distance. I have listed those for your convenience.

About Event
The plans for the Friday tour of Paradise High School are finalized and the Doubletree in Chico has been given the final number of attendees, give or take a few. In two weeks, we will be seeing one another in person, with a photobooth to capture the moment.
Thanks to all who have paid, it is much appreciated to those of us who are maintaining the budget! We added a few extra seats for those classmates who find out at the last minute they can attend, or word of the reunion just gets to them, and they would like to be there. If you know of any PHS alumni, who still want to attend, ask them to email us and we will see if we can accommodate their request.
Our hope is that anyone who wants to attend is not deterred by missing the deadline or due to lack of funds.
Saturday, August 20th, 5-10:30pm, Doubletree Hotel, Chico
5-6:30pm – Gathering and Happy Hour – No host bar
There will be a check in table where you can sign the check-in book and get your name tag. Mingle and get reacquainted with classmates. The photo booth will be open for business.
6:30pm – 7:30pm Dinner
Buffet style dinner and dessert.
7:30-10:30pm – Music and Dancing
The attire for the evening is summer casual to semi-formal, (in other words wear what you want), just make sure to wear your dancing shoes.
