Events	With great sadness, we announce the passing of our son Kaiden Ryan Walsh. Kaiden left us far too soon following a tragic car accident. Kaiden was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend whose kindness, laughter, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. Kaiden was born April 2, 2008 in Dover, Delaware to Erika and Kevin Walsh. He was a deeply loved son to Erika and Kevin, a devoted brother to Lukas and Kallie Walsh and a beloved grandson to Nancy and Steve Lediger, Jeff and Cindy Lee Jones, and Kim Jones. He was a cherished nephew and cousin, deeply loved by his extended family and many dear friends who will hold his memory close to their hearts. Growing up in an Air Force family Kaiden lived in Dover, Delaware; Cheyenne, Wyoming; San Antonio, Texas; and Papillion, Nebraska, forming enduring friendships along the way. A dedicated honor student at Papillion LaVista South High School, Kaiden excelled as a powerlifter and track athlete demonstrating strength, determination and passion. He also worked at Dairy Queen in downtown Papillion, where his kindness, humor, and strong work ethic touched the hearts of all those lucky enough to meet him. Kaiden loved playing video games with his many friends around the country. He loved exploring and learning all about the natural world and he also loved all animals, especially his dog Jerzee. He was adventurous and always enjoyed new experiences. He loved travelling and he really loved trying new foods. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter and goofy sense of humor, his kind heart, and the joy he brought to all around him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kahler-Dolce Funeral Home, 441 N Washington St, Papillion, NE 68046. A celebration of Kaiden’s life will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Christian Church, 10100 Cedar Island Rd, Bellevue, NE 68123. To honor Kaiden’s legacy and inspire future athletes, the family would appreciate donations for the Papio South Powerlifting Team. Please send donations to the PLCS Foundation, 242 W. Grant Street, Papillion, NE 68046, re: Kaiden Walsh Memorial. There will be donation envelopes at the funeral home. Kaiden, we will miss you terribly and don’t know how we will go on without you.
