He was a WWII Veteran and served in the Army from 15 Dec 1942 until 10 March 1946. I am told he served as a German translator while in service. Louie was also a 60 year member of VFW Post # 9675, 50 year member of American Legion Post # 32, Papillion City Council Member, served as Fire Chief in the Papillion City Fire Dept. and a continuous Papillion business man for over 75 years.
