| Events | STEPHEN SKAGGS (68) November 10, 1950 - June 23, 2017 U.S.Army Stephen B. Skaggs November 10, 1950 - June 23, 2017 Age 66, of Omaha. Steve joined the Army in 1969 at the age of 19 and served in Vietnam. He was proud to serve his country and to call himself a veteran. He lived in Omaha and then retired in Temple, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse II; mother, Mary; and brother, James. He is survived by his children, Sherie and Steve; grandchildren, Gavin, Bryce, and Mackenzie; brothers, Jesse III and Richard; sister, Patricia; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. He was an avid supporter of the Texas Rangers, the Minnesota Vikings and an active member of his local church. Viewing will be held at Kahler-Dolce in Papillion on July 14 from 4pm - 8pm with family receiving friends from 6pm - 8pm.
