ARLINGTON — Charleen “Peaches” L. Kremke, age 81, of Arlington passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.

Peaches was born May 16, 1936, to Charles and Luella (Zeek) Peters in Omaha. She was raised in Papillion, graduating from Papillion High School in 1953. She then attended University of Omaha (UNO) receiving a master’s in education. Peaches then began her teaching career where she taught at Avoca, Millard, Ralston, Fort Calhoun and St. Paul’s Arlington. She married Robert Kremke on Dec. 20, 1958, in Papillion. During her retirement she was very involved with her granddaughters, substitute teaching, FBLA and her antiques. She simply loved being a teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Donnette (Chip) Bastian of Arlington; granddaughters, Charlsie and Madison Bastian; as well as many loving family and friends. See less

Charleen is the daughter of Charles & Luella (Zeek) Peters.

She was raised in the Papillion and graduated from Papillion High School in 1953. She then attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha, receiving a masters in education.
Peaches then began her teaching career where she taught at Avoca, Millard, Ralston, Ft. Calhoun and St. Paul's Arlington.
She married Robert Kremke on December 20-1958 in Papillion.
During her retirement she was very involved with her granddaughters, substitute teaching, FBLA and her antiques. She simply loved being a teacher
