Jun 18, 1951 - Sep 24, 2018 Beloved Son, Brother and Uncle Larry G. Schmidt went Home to be with Jesus. Preceded in death by father Marvin J. Schmidt; and brothers, David M. Schmidt, and John M. Schmidt. While in the Air Force, he served in Thailand. Larry was always giving, caring, and gentle, and was a humble example of Christlikeness. Survived by mother, Shirley (Schmidt) Ranney; step-dad, Joe Ranney Jr: sister Nancy; brother Robert; nephews, Mike (Anneke), and Rick (Brenda); and 5 great-nephews and nieces. CELEBRATION of LIFE SERVICE: Wednesday, October 3, 11am at Christ Community Church Chapel, 404 S 108th Ave., Omaha NE 68154.
