NICKERSON -- Ivan G. Doll, 68, of Nickerson died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, in his home....
Doll was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Papillion. He grew up in Papillion and was a graduate of Papillion High School. He married Darlene O. Neuhaus March 7, 1953, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millard. He served in the United States Army from March 1953 until May 1954. After his discharge, he farmed near Papillion for 10 years and moved to Telbasta area of Washington County where he owned and operated Doll Farms Inc. He retired in January 1994.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Fremont and served on the church council, Fraternal Order of Eagles 200 of Fremont, and American Legion Post 71 of Arlington. He previously served as treasurer of Portal School District in Sarpy County and served six years as director of the Nebraska Soybean Board. He was former member and served on church council of Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle.

Survivors include: his wife; a son, Gary (and wife, Michele) Doll of Nickerson; two daughters, Nancy A. (Mrs. Dale) Hilgenkamp of Arlington and Peggy J. (Mrs. Steven) Pribnow of Ames; two brothers, Lyle (and wife, Gladys) Doll of Elkhorn and Elden (and wife, Frances) Doll of Sun City, Ariz.; a brother-in-law, Henry (and wife, Aleta) Neuhaus of Elkhorn; 10 grandchildren, Amy, Laurie and Emily Hilgenkamp, Anne, Audrey, John and Jacob Pribnow, Heather, Aaron and Michael Doll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert C. and Anna (Dreessen) Doll.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in Fremont with the Revs. Mark Grorud and Anjanette Rist officiating. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with family receiving friends 5-8 p.m., both Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Memorials have been established to Fremont Area Medical Center Hospice Program and St. Paul's Lutheran School in Arlington
