Events	Wyant, Wayne Oakley Mar 7, 1958 - Sep 11, 2017 Beloved husband, father, and son of Murrieta, CA. Wayne was born at San Antonio, TX, and lived in various locations until moving to Papillion, NE, with his parents in 1967. He graduated from Papillion-La Vista High School in 1976 and enlisted in the Air Force where he became an electronics maintainer on approach control radar. In 1986, he went to work for Hughes Aircraft (now Raytheon) in Lawton, OK. In 1987 he married the love of his life, Kathy Scott. They had two daughters and he was transferred to San Diego, CA, where he worked on various military related projects as a maintenance instructor and manuals writer until his death. Wayne is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughters, Nicole Wyant and Amanda Gonzalez (Art); granddaughter, Cambria; father and mother, Fred and Betty Wyant of York, NE; sisters, Wendy Whaley (Rick) of La Vista, NE; and Robin Wyant of Omaha; brother, David Wyant of Council Bluffs, IA; eight nephews and nieces; and aunt, Jean Calkins (Tracy) of Waynesville, NC. Wayne was a life member of York Masonic lodge #56. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gayle Lemke (Jerry). FUNERAL: Wednesday, September 20, at the Murrieta Valley Funeral Home. Interment on September 29 with military honors at Riverside (CA) National Cemetery.
