Sergeant First Class Paul F.Lienemann (45) U.S. Army served during WWII and Korean War (passed Sep. 30, 2011) Paul was born and raised on a farm near Papillion, Nebraska. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Papillion, and graduated from Papillion High School. Paul attended UNL before serving in the US Army during WWII, and again in the Korean War during his college years. He attained the rank of Sergeant First Class. Back in college, he was a member of Beta Sigma Psi Fraternity and met the love of his life, his wife Lucille Anderson. Upon graduating from UNL he became a CPA and worked for Arthur Anderson and Peat Marwick before joining Valmont Industries where he became the Chief Financial Officer.

Paul was preceded in death by parents, Art and Dora Lienemann; son, Alan; brothers Herb, Don, Art, and Marvin. Survived by wife, Lucille; sons, Gary of Omaha and James (Juliet) of West Hills, CA; daughters: Kristen Lienemann, Cindy Rose, Lori Obermier (Doug), Lisa Skokan (Todd), all of Omaha; grandchildren: Dan and Josh Lienemann, Jeff and Alex Rose, Lauren Obermier, Zach, Nate, and Sam Skokan; brother Del of Lincoln; and numerous nephews and nieces.https://www.findagrave.com/.../paul-f.-lienemannLIENEMANN, Paul F., age 84. Paul was born and raised in Papillion, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Papillion and graduated from Papillion High School. He proudly served in the U. S. Army in WWII, as well as Korea during his college years. He attended UNL and was a member of Beta Sigma Psi Fraternity. It was at UNL where he met the love of his life, his wife Lucille Anderson, to whom he remained devoted until his death. Upon graduating from UNL he became a CPA and worked for Arthur Anderson and Peat Marwick before joining Valmont Industries where he would become the Chief Financial Officer and see the company grow and become publicly traded. Paul had a strong sense of family, loyalty, and humility, centered by his devotion to the church. The family will receive friends Monday, 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Tuesday, 11am, Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114 St., with military rites by Benson VFW Post 2503. Private Interment. In lieu of flower the family suggests memorials to Lutheran Church of the Master or The Immanuel Community Foundation to purchase stained glass windows in the Lighthouse Chapel where he attended services
