Dr. Jerry W. Vonderharr, age 50, of Evart passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Evart Township, Osceola County.
Dr. Jerry was born on Oct. 3, 1958 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to Linus Vonderharr and Virginia Klimek. He graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Ore. with a Chiropractic degree. He also earned a master's degree in geology from Arizona State. On April 3, 2000, he married Leanna Rosekrans in Maui, Hawaii.
An Evart area resident for the last 18 years, Dr. Jerry owned and operated Evart Family Chiropractic.
He was a member of the Evart Moose Lodge, the Michigan Chiropractic Association and of Ducks Unlimited, and he was a past President of Evart DDA and LFDA. He was also an avid outdoorsman and loved diving and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Leanna Vonderharr of Evart.
He was preceded in death by his father.
