About	Kerry Glen Ketchum, born November 13, 1957, son of Lyle and Lola Grove Ketchum, passed away on June 5th due to complications from surgery. Kerry was born in Sioux City, IA and was raised in Papillion, NE. He was a graduate of Papillion High School and attended Dana College. Kerry moved to Atlanta in the early 1980's and worked in the financial services industry, where he made many friends and successful clients. He was an avid bowler, loved Nebraska Cornhusker football and John Wayne (his hero) movies, which he watched whenever they were on TV. Kerry loved making people laugh and spending time with his extended family, especially in the ancestral home in Marshallville, GA. Kerry was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Jerry and Kim and his niece Carlye. He is survived by his wife Caroline Lide Ketchum daughters Sarah Zaffos (Jay), Kristy Sawyer (Matt), Katie and Maggie and grandchildren Hannah, Emily and Jack Zaffos and Molly and Max Sawyer, his sister in law Linda Hulsey and in laws Cary and Brooks Lide. He is also survived by his two best friends Kevin Meier and Tracy Harrison, affectionately known as "brothers from other mothers," and his favorite dog, Tina. A celebration of Kerry's life with be held on Saturday June 16th from 4-7 PM at the home of Cary and Brooks Lide. Published in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on June 7, 2018
