Entered the US Army 11/1971 and was assigned to the 1/10th Inf Div, Ft Carson, CO. Later changed MOS to a Communications field. Had tours in Korea, Okinawa, Germany, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Egypt, Jordan, and various installations around the USA.

Three combat tours in the Middle East (South Lebanon, 1984; Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom); served throughout Europe, Middle East, & Alaska; served stateside at Forts Benning, Sill (twice), Bragg (three tours), Norfolk Naval Base, Pentagon (twice), and Carlisle Barracks. 14 years as a paratrooper; 2 Legion of Merits, 2 Bronze Stars, etc.
