About Me	After I graduated from PV High, I went to LA Harbor Junior Collage for 3 years with an AA Degree. The next 2 years I went to Long Beach State College . I graduated with a BS Specializing in Accounting. I met my wife while at collage. I entered the Army April 1968 and went to Fort Dix. I married Sharron Fournier in Bellflower, Ca while on leave. Our honeymoon consisted of driving to the Army Finance School at Fort Benjamin Harrison. My assignment after military school was in Belgium. I became the company clerk in a finance company which provided support to American military at Shape. My wife joined me few months later. We rented the second floor from an older couples house. They only spoke French while their teenage son translated for us. We would play whisk with our landlord and son. We didn't have much money, so our traveling consisted of mostly traveling around Belgium. We did go to Luxemburg, Netherlands, London ( My parents had a 1 night layover) and Germany for Sharron's flight to New York. A month later, I flew to New York where I was released from the Army. I joined my wife who was staying with her grandmother in Worcester, Massachusetts. We spent a month meeting with all her relatives and touring Massachusetts near by states. My wife's parents come from large family with most of them living in Massachusetts. We drove back to the Los Angeles area. Where we visited with our families in Southern California. I got a job working with the Assessor Department, LA County as an Auditor-Appraiser starting in Jun 1970. My duty's consisted of appraising business property, auditing report business asset statements. processing reported business assets statements, supervising appraisers, managing a section or office. As an Auditor I traveled to Buffalo, New York, Texas, San Francisco, Washington, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. I retired from LA County in Dec 1998 as an Principal Appraiser. Since retirement, I still worked part time for the Assessor's Office on special projects for a limited amount of hours. After the Army, We liven a apartment in Torrance (rented) and houses in Lomita (rented), Stanton (owned) , Redondo Beach (rented), Buena Park (owned & built 1950s ), Chino (owned & built in 1975), West Covina (owned built in 1959) and after retirement Hemet (owned & built in 1942) our current home. We had 3 kids: Amy Born 1971, Seth and Abel born in 1974. Amy married Eric Phillips. Amy and Eric have 3 kids: Cassie 18, Tony 13, and Allanna11. She is a 1st grade school teacher. Seth is unmarried and works for a local market as truck driver. Abel is also unmarried and works in Las Vegas as a dealer at the Aria Casino. We are interested in genealogy. We have found most of our relatives to when they came to America. My earliest came to America in 1650's. Sharron's family were French Canadian and she can trace to the first Canadian Family. We did a lot of remodeling. Sharron planned the jobs and I did the construction. We have converted a garage to a family room, added a breakfast room, rearranged a kitchen, built a garage and a new bedroom, hired people to do concrete and stucco. In the West Covina house, we extended a living room, added a family room, enlarged the master bathroom, rearranged the kitchen, hired a electrician to move the main panel, pump the cement into forms and do the stucco. The current house we closed 2 doors, built a wall to make a bedroom, moved an outside door, changed a door into an outside door, remolded the main bathroom by adding a shower and moving the sink and toilet, rearranged the kitchen, and hired election, plumber to do the rough plumbing by chang...(read more)
