| About Me | B.A. (1975) U. of A. in Economics/Latin American Studies, M.S. (1977) U. of A. in Agricultural Economics. Worked 8 years with US Dept. of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service in Washington, DC and Mexico City. Worked with the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland for 31 years, Agriculture Division, primary responsibility for an international trade agreement on food safety, plant and animal health protection. Travelled extensively for work and pleasure (approx. 100 countries). Retired to Portland, Maine in summer 2016. Still happily married to Oliver RAY Stanton. Son (PhD Princeton Evolutionary and Environmental Biology, botanist) and daughter-in-law on staff at U. of Minnesota, St. Paul, where my 41/2 year old granddaughter lives. Daughter (M.S.
