Kyle and I virtually grew up together as lived on the same street in the Palisades. The houses we lived in are all burnt down now. Kyle loved to go hiking and he and I hiked all over the San Gabrial mountains. When we were about 12 though we hiked up into the Santa Monica mountains and pitched a tent on a fire road. A helicopter showed up and loud speakered us from above to leave as camping was not allowed there. We laughed about it later. We learned a lot on that first overnighter. He was quite a loner really but we had a lot of laughs growing up.
