EVENT WEEKEND: SEPT 20-22, 2024
On Friday, September 20, 2024, we will have an informal gathering
(no food provided, cash bar) in a private room at “Durty Nellie’s”,
located at 180 N. Smith St. in Palatine from 6:30-9:00 pm. We will
collect $10 per classmate at the door to help cover the costs of the
room, waitstaff, etc... Unofficially we will wander over to “Tap
House Grill” at 56 W. Wilson for fun later in the evening.
On Saturday, September 21, we will meet at “Emmett’s Brewing
Company” at 110 N Brockway in Palatine from 6:30 to closing time
(the same location as the last 2 reunions). Appetizers will be served
and there will be a cash bar. For those who wish to come after
9:00, a $20 donation to the scholarship fund is appreciated.
Finally, on Sunday, Sept. 22, we are excited to tag on to Palatine
Rotary’s Oktoberfest party: www.palatinerotary.com/oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest takes place in the park bordered by Smith Street,
Palatine Road, Brockway and the train tracks (for GPS purposes, use
170 W. Slade Street). Meet us at the beer tent, where we will have
some reserved tables for our group! This event will go from 12:00
until 3:00 for classmates to meet. This will allow Sunday evening for
gatherings with family or friends. It also allows for those traveling
to head back home.
