| About Me | Tries really hard to stay on the bicycle path, but the trees are so pretty....Look, a Squirrel!! A great, big vivacious personality in a small package. Well, in height, anyways. I have been described by others as a bit on the weird side-- to which, of course, I would whole-heartedly agree. I certainly don't fit in any box or label. My poor husband ;) Of course he knew what he was getting into when we met in 2003 at the Bristol Ren. Faire. Let's just say that Ren. Faire Folk are not what you'd usually determine as normal and common place; nor was our meeting/ first interactions. Our engagement was a bit out of the ordinary as well, since he got down on one knee at a Bristol Ren. Faire pre-opening meeting in front of perhaps 100 or more cast and crew, where he presented me with his grandmother's ring! Of course I said yes:) About a year later, after trying to plan a wedding over not just state lines, but oceanary and inter-continental lines, we finally got married on Aug. 5th, 2006 at (where else) the Bristol Ren.
