Richard Scott Gallagher of Palatine Interment for Richard Scott "Dick" Gallagher, 49, was private. Born Oct. 16, 1955, in Chicago, Dick died of pneumonia Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, in New York City. Dick was blessed with unusual musical talent as an accompanist, arranger, composer and musical director for which he won 11 MAC Awards (Manhattan Association of Cabarets). He also wrote the scores for four off-Broadway musicals; "Have I Got A Girl For You" (The Frankenstein Musical), "Whatnot," "Whoop-de-do" and "When Pigs Fly," which ran for over two years off-Broadway. He was the youngest beloved son of Joseph E. and Lorraine G. Gallagher; the fond brother of William J. (Deborah) Gallagher and Daniel H.
