Lou and his family moved next door to me when we were about 8 yrs old. During our youth, we ha great time growing up and doing what kids do, and then some! We played football in our back yards, basketball in my driveway, running bases in the back yard, tennis, and many other games. We hung out at the community pool or at Holiday Park near Volvo. Good times. During our senior year, Lou entered the Marines and I entered the Air Force. When we both graduated and we’re home on leave during the Xmas Holiday in 1974, we spend one night getting totally drunk on whiskey at his house. We kept in touch over the years and all I have to say is I lost one good friend several months back. He suffered greatly from Cancer. He has a wonderful family. He will be sorely missed.
