About Me | PIIDDDDGGGIIIIIIINNNNNN!!!!!! I'm intimate, sensitive, introspective, and giving. I take things personally. I need communication and shared interest in any friendship. And in the relationship sense, I like the friendship to come first, but it doesn't have to. What I need most of all is physical closeness. I am a very intimate person. I want someone to hold me. I don't like to be lonely. I love everything about art (especially theatre) and literature. I'm a movie fanatic and a freak for movie quotes. I'm not shy about using someone else's words to convey what I'm trying to say. I love acting more than anything, and last year discovered not only a love but a passion for mime. I am fascinated by silence. I've just finished directing a show at the community theatre here in Gunnison and a musical on campus. Both were exciting and trying experiences. I've discovered that I love the world of theatre very deeply, but that the politics and the drama are quite nearly enough to drive me away. I want to become involved in theatre and film, in any way I can. I love participating in the arts and I love observing them. My dreams involve acting and directing and owning my own theatre and finishing my book, Patchwork Life, and making it into a movie. Putting my heart and emotions out there for everyone to see is like therapy for me... and on the flip side so is hiding myself completely in another person. I'm also very open minded and love to talk about real issues. Dialog is great, debate is okay, preaching I don't go for. It doesn't matter what we're talking about; whether you're trying to introduce me to Rap music, give me a makeover, or convert me to Christianity, please don't make me your project. I'm perfectly satisfied with who I am and I will work hard to respect and love you for who you are. I love to talk and discuss, as long as it's truly open communication. I won't try to change you, so please do try to do the same for me. The number one thing in my life is effective communication. I spent a semester on a ship studying (yes, studying, if you can believe that) and another in Hamilton, New Zealand, learning about other cultures, particularly theatre and dance. Being in NZ was of course the more involved cultural experience. It was very exciting to get a chance to spend some quality time in this amazing country with its beautiful people. I had a blast learning about the Kiwis, both Pakeha and Maori. I learned a bit of the Maori language and had some wonderful experiences learning their dance, made some fantastic friends from NZ and all over the world, and have found yet another place on the planet where I will have to come back and spend more time. Not to mention I saw some of the places where the Lord...(read more) |
