About	Hello. My name is Robin Dusenberry Cook and I'm writing to let you know that my little brother, Rick Dusenberry died on October 1, 2018. We didn't live in Paden City very long but we did attend grade school during that time. I was in third and fourth grade and Rick was in second and third. This was during the early to mid 1960s. His favorite teacher ever was Mrs. Rapp for third grade. I had Mabel Koerber for fourth. We both loved living there and hated to leave but our dad was a minister (First Christian Church) and we kids had no choice. The one thing that Rick never forgot was the crush he had on Jan Hood, the band director's daughter. He joined this site hoping to learn about how she is these days. I cannot remember if he was ever able to learn anything about Jan recently but that crush never ended. He graduated from high school in Oxford, OH, in 1976, and he had just turned 60 the August before he died. He didn't have an email account so he joined this site using mine. He died suddenly, in his sleep, while he was spending the weekend with my family and me. Just writing this is hard for me because I miss him so much. We were kinda best friends because we moved a lot and went to many different schools in many different states. We were the only people we knew when starting a new school and we were very close. If anyone remembers Rick I wanted them to know that he's gone too soon. Thanks for listening. Robin Cook
