Anita Mathur, ORHS class of 1992 here. I just wanted to let you all know a few things about our alumni association:
1) Official paperwork: I have completed the paperwork for our alumni association. It is filed with the state of New Hampshire under "Oyster River Alumni Association". I am still working on getting us federal 501c3 status so that people can give tax deductible donations to the ORAA. There are 5 people on the board of directors of this association. Contact me for their names.
2) Funds: In addition to the paperwork, I also opened a bank account that has some start up funds in it that can be used for alumni events. These funds were generated from the 50 year anniversary celebration event that took place a few years ago. So far I have only used the money to print ORAA business cards that I give out to graduating seniors every year. But about $1200 is waiting to be used for something interesting. Any ideas?
3) Old alumni website: We used to have a website that was www.orhs.net. The alumni who was in charge of that site appears to have vanished along with the site. So this site will have to do at least for the moment. I encourage you to tell everyone you know to register on it - I feel bad that we lost everyone who registered on orhs.net.
